Underwhelmed. I took someone in in the middle of a mental health crisis, they held him for detox for about six hours, released him out into the streets and now he’s disappeared. Staff was nice and all, but very little follow up care or coordinated planning. I guess I should’ve picked a location further from the druggies downtown. I’ve seen better mental healthcare at other crisis centers and will visit those in the future instead.

This happened a few years back. My child begged for help and had suicidal ideation along with self harm. So I took them here to get help. We waited 9 hours, a trip to the ER for blood work, and then we came back to continue to wait. A man who we dealt with basically told us he didnt agree with being admitted and that we need to just go home and think about it. My child was in tears. We went home and slept on the couch so I could monitor to make sure they were safe, and we went back because the ladies we had talked to earlier... read more
