My clothes were stolen by the security guard. They were really rude when I asked for them back. I was also hung up on by a lady that refused to give me her name. Very disrespectful staff. I highly encourage nobody to go here
I came in for detox and it was not impressive. I wasn't expecting a vacation at the Rittz Carlton by any means, but the lack of care was depressing. I was there for 3 days, and was hardly fed. No breakfast and no dinner because they "didn't have enough food". There was no more than 5 people in the unit... Lunch was 2 sandwiches with some sort of unidentifiable red meat and a slice of unknown white cheese and an apple. Otherwise they gave me boat loads of snack bag size chips. Underwhelmed. I took someone in in the middle of a mental health crisis, they held him for detox for about six hours, released him out into the streets and now he’s disappeared. Staff was nice and all, but very little follow up care or coordinated planning. I guess I should’ve picked a location further from the druggies downtown. I’ve seen better mental healthcare at other crisis centers and will visit those in the future instead.
