We went to FL over Spring Break with a our girls, to see family. The trip was great, but I came back with a UTI - my second one ever! I was initially seen at PTC, but then after 2 visits there, I went to MedExpress - which also ended up being 2 separate visits. At MedExpress, I initially saw Emma Whitsett, PA-C and she was wonderful! She really zeroed in on what I was feeling and made the right call to order a CT scan for me. Great staff and Dr. very little wait time. I was in and out within half an hour.
I was able to get in with a reasonable wait time and everyone was extremely courteous. Probably waited for about 15-20 mins before being called back and after the nurse checked me out it was probably another 5 min wait. For a walk in clinic that is pretty good in my experience. Extremely happy they were open till 6 pm so I could go after work to not miss time.
Worst care I’ve ever received! Seen Friday. Monday I call as having same symptoms and antibiotics make me sick. They sent the incorrect test! So, they resend the “correct” test…next day, Tuesday, the lab did not run the test because they tell me they had to fill out a form?? So now, I have to wait yet another day to get the test completed-in the meantime they REFUSED to call me in a different prescription!!! WORST CARE EVER!!! DON’T GO THERE!!! I have never had a bad experience at this urgent care. From the front desk (Taylor) to the PA (Neal Cabaniss, PA-C) I was treated with care, compassion & concern. Sometimes they run late due to unforeseen emergencies, but you have to be patient, and the care is worth it. I especially liked P.A. Neal.
