Dr Hesham is a very knowledgeable & excellent surgeon. Having him do Robotic Assisted Rectopexy surgery was such a help to me! The surgery he performed gave normalcy to my life that I had not had for a very long time. My condition was very difficult to talk about! Dr. Hesham was not only a good listener, but he clearly understood my concerns and conditions. He also provided excellent surgical care and post-surgical care. He remembered everything we had talked about in the past, all the steps he took during the surgical procedure, and discussed openly and clearly what I should expect for my future. Highly recommend.
Had been recommended to ask for Dr. Hesham when I entered LGH with Crohn's disease complication of abscess at ileocecal valve site. He performed a bowel resection with an ileocecal procedure, fortunately leaving me without an ileostomy. His friendliness, warmth, and candor were so greatly appreciated. He'd pull a stool up to bedside so on eye level for our chats. His explanations were always clear and he always had time for my many questions. A more caring surgeon doesn't exist! He is a jewel! My relative had him as surgeon. Totally incompetent. Ignored complaints and suffered irreparable problems because of negligence. Do not go to this dr
Horrible surgeon. Incompetent and neglected anything said by patient/nurse. Patient was in for a Stoma reversal. Untrustworthy, horrible explanation of conditions, “can’t be bothered” attitude, does not respond, refused important testing so that he would not be blamed for horrible medical mistake. Patient advocacy had to be called to demand blood work & CT scan. Dr. Heshem is very patient. He takes his time with you and makes sure that all your questions are answered. He has a very good bedside manner and genuinely cares about his patients and their families. And he is a skilled surgeon. We would highly recommend him.
