Never knew of a “specialty pharmacy.” I was directed there due to a prescription my doctor ordered that required “prior authorization.” Once this process was completed, I picked up my med with absolutely no problem. Quick, convenient, efficient. A+ service.

I recently had one of the most difficult experiences I’ve ever had with a pharmacy, despite many years managing infertility and medications. My heads gonna explode I was busy all day and called to check on prescriptions my doctors sent over hours ago. Only to wait patiently as they had to talk to manager after manager to find out they “don’t fill controlled medications”. So they won’t fill my ADHD meds. I’m confused because why the hell is it called Specialty Pharmacy then?

They never have my time-sensitive, urgent prescription ready, even hours after it’s been called in by doc office. There’s also rodent droppings everywhere on the floor in the waiting, drop off and checkout areas
