I deleted my five star review for this one. For something like three years I’ve been a patient at Southampton and this pharmacy was extremely convenient. The hours kinda sucked but the service made it worth it. Until recently. Now you have to call in advance to fill ANY prescription, doesn’t matter what it is. They claim the app works and text works but I filled my script via text on Wednesday and had to sit in the lobby today because they weren’t sure if I wanted them to fill it! What! I had all but given up on finding a pharmacy that could dispense my specialty RA medication. The specialty pharmacy my insurance company uses told me they only dispense this drug to people with military insurance. Walmart told me they would only dispense the medication for me if I switched ALL my meds to them. None of the other local pharmacies were able to dispense the medication, and out of desperation I tried the Walgreens specialty pharmacy in the city. It's a solid place to waste your lunch while you watch them bobble your prescriptions. If you like hearing phrases like "There's a glitch" or "There seems to be a problem" it's the place to be! All of this fun happens when you arrive AFTER you get a text and robo-call telling you that your prescription is ready. I didn't send myself a text that said "We're ready for you."
