Our pharmacy was Rite Aid, and just changed to Walgreens. When it was Rite Aid, we could call after hours and leave our prescription number and when we would like to pick it up. Now that it is Walgreens you cannot call until the pharmacy is open at 9:00 and many people are working then and cannot call. This was working so well before when it was Rite Aid, but anything that works, someone always has to mess it up. Horrible when a prescription has been called in for two hours, you get to the window after waiting 15 minutes to be told that the prescription isn’t quite ready yet...she says just circle the building now I have been waiting 45 more minutes and still have 2 cars in front of me... NEVER AGAIN.... sorry customer service
Horrible! Just horrible, period. They never have it together. I've learned to call before you go to pick up your meds. Or they won't be ready & even then when you get there and sit in line forever and get up to the window they say "oh, the pharmacist is working on it now 'lie'...can u drive around the building an once you pull around we will have it ready. Waste ur gas driving circles around the building get back to the window an STILL have to wait bc it's not ready!!!!!! Get It Together People! �
I just received a personal call from the pharmacy to check in making sure I'm able to get my med bc I have received my alerts but haven't gotten them yet. I'm blown away & extremely thankful for this!!!! For a big company to take it to a personal level to call you just to check in is something that is HUGE these days & truly means a lot especially when you take regular meds. No matter how responsible we are its so easy to forget things sometimes so a little back up is nice to have :) I'm a permanent customer!
Since when the pharmacist has the right to tell you to lower your dosage on your prescription or they won't fill it no more??
