The pharmacist twice confirmed that my prescriptions would be ready and after driving an hour to get them he refused. No apology. No explanation.
Terrible service today. Alex Promised on the phone to hold my prescription, but he did not. And never apologized.
I came to this walgrens two times in the past week and it was lucky I had patience both times. Both times the items were rung up incorrectly. First time it took over 10 minutes to get it correctly. Second time was a little better. The sad thing everyone in line in front of me had similar issues. I didn't get a good explanation of why every other walgrens the register priced it correctly. I have bought this item at over 20 Walgreens even in other states and they get it right.
We have been customers of Parkway Drugs (now Walgreens) in Glencoe for more than 50 years. When the store was sold to Walgreens 5+ years ago, things stayed about the same. Not any more. The list of things wrong in the past few weeks (prescriptions misfilled, multiple scripts lost, improper instructions, long waits and more) cane to a head today.
