What a joke of a store! Stood in line for 40 minutes for them to tell me they wouldn’t fill my prescription tonight because they are so backed up! The slowest pharmacy ever and all they do is sit around a chit-chat! DO NOT USE!!
Baton Rouge is experiencing a high amount of flu cases. The Walgreens is one of the few that is upon. There are long lines in the drive through and inside. The customers are feeling poorly and are irritable. They are obviously understaffed and no one from management has spoken to anyone in the line. A few words understanding or information would go a long way to clarify the situation.
Well being a pharmacy tech I can tell you the others who left 1 star reviews know nothing about what it takes to fill a prescription. It being a 24hr store, yes it gets crazy busy, but then again what pharmacy doesn’t? People will complain about anything and everything and think it’s so simple that we can just slap a label on the medication then call it a day. Only giving one star because there was not an option for zero! Horrible service!!! These people really need to get their crap together. After waiting for an hour, we are told that they do not accept our insurance. That's fine but that should have been told to us when we handed them the prescription card! After being told they do not accept the insurance, my husband leaves only to realize that they didn't even give him the prescription back. Pharmacy is horrible. Poor customer service and very rude.
It's almost midnight and I was just told that it will be at least 90 minutes before someone will refill my insulin prescription. For those of you who don't know, all that is required is that the pharmacist pull it out of the refrigerator and scan the paperwork. There is literally no filling necessary. My family and I have been customers here for almost 20 years, but I think I may be transferring pharmacies tomorrow. Really sick and tired of pathetic service from the new people on the late night crew.
Horrible service. After already waiting for 20 minutes I was asked to pull around and continue to wait while I watched other people get serviced in front of me. The woman at the window had difficulty processing my prescription for some unknown reason. Another 15 minutes pass and she then tells me the pharmacist left and she's unable to give me my prescription. Rather than waiting any longer I left. Hopefully I will get my prescription hassle free when I go back. Terrible.
The slowest damn pharmacy in the history of pharmacies. Seriously, get it together.
Pharmacy consistently understaffed for volume of business. Manager useless; rather chat at front counter that help customers at pharmacy. Requests for additional clerk seldom answered.
