I dropped off my mothers prescriptions Sunday and today we went to pick them up and they charged my mom over 200 dollars for a prescription that was not turned in!! She can’t have albuterol in her nebulizer but they did it anyways and said she has to pay that price. The service at this pharmacy was totally unprofessional as well. My husband said that they were tossing the medication. My husband said that they deserve a huge complaint and he usually says nothing. Something is always wrong at this pharmacy. I keep giving it another try due to it being a convenient location. However, I think I’ve finally learned - save time by going somewhere else in the first place.
If you're thinking about changing to Walgreens for your prescriptions, DON'T. This one in particular is a joke - they've changed my birth control prescription w/o telling me, almost EVERYTIME I call in a prescription something is messed up w/ it - and mind you I'm a Type 1 Diabetic who NEEDS her insulin everyday to live. This time "oh the prescription was never filled I'm sorry come back in 15 mins" when I called 4 days in advance, like I have all day for them to get it together. Keeping prices as low as Walmart's.
Their pharmacy department is a joke. I called two days before to get a prescription refilled. When I went in two days later they said it was expired when their bottle clearly says it isn't. They told me they had a call into my Dr to renew it, but couldn't bother to call me to let me know what was going on so I didn't waste my time going to the pharmacy. And this is only one problem I've had with them. Their customer service is worse than the cable company's. I will NEVER use their pharmacy or shop at their store again.
