This Walgreen's pharmacy location is not requiring staff to wear face masks. This is not a combination of face shields and masks, this is face shields alone. I spoke with the store manager today who confirmed that this is their store policy, namely they give their employees the option between the two. After a million bad experiences with Fred Meyer, we decided to try Walgreens Pharmacy instead. We were waiting to be helped and witnessed someone berating the pharmacy staff, making racist comments and accusing them of awful things. The staff stayed respectful and patient throughout the whole ordeal. A manager eventually had to tell the person to leave, and the second they left the staff immediately began helping other customers.
