I have gone to Jenny Barnes for over 3 years, she is fantastic. Very personable and knowledgable. I look forward to my appointments.
Cancelation of two appointments that were scheduled months in advance. If you read the first line I'll continue...my wife scheduled a hair and make up appointment as we were traveling 9 hours for a friend's wedding. Apparently deciding to be childish trumped the desire to deliver good customer service. The owner hung up on my wife and cancelled her appointment 5 minutes prior because supposedly someone from the wedding party didn't show up earlier in the morning. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism at this establishment. After booking an appointment two months in advance for a wedding and driving 9 hours for the event my appointment was cancelled ten minutes before the scheduled appointment. There was no valid explanation and reasoning other than they did not want to take guests or anyone from the wedding that was taken place. Great salon, very talented stylist, educated on the latest trends, amazing colorist!
The massage therapists at Waleed's are extremely professional and very skilled at what they do. There are many different massages to choose from (Swedish, Deep-Tissue, CranioSacral, Hot-Stone Therapy, Sports Massage, Couples, and even Chair Massage- I've had them all!) depending on my needs that day. The spa upstairs is decorated beautifully, and my best friend even had her bridal shower there (I was her Maid-of-Honor). There is even a kitchen to prepare and keep food cold.
