Probably one of the best doctors I've ever had. He's incredibly thorough, very reassuring, and very funny. I found Dr. Shindy very easy to connect with. It was a very stressful issue for me, and he made me feel much better (both emotionally and physically). I would HIGHLY recommend him and his staff. I'm moving to Austin in a few weeks and sad I won't be able to continue seeing Dr. Shindy if I have another issue.

Dr Shindy is the rare doctor who truly listens to you. He knows his medicine but not intimidated by your questions and desire for more information. He will take time to explain diagnosis and threatment. Even simple questions about colon prep he will take time to answer. Both my husband and I will travel from New Mexico to see Dr. Shindy.
Compassionate. Great bedside manner. Expertise and Knowledgeable in his area! Listens to his patients and acts on what they're saying. Friendly, excellent care! The whole family and some of my dear friends see him.
Dr. Shindy is the best! Thoroughly committed to his patient, he diagnosed my gastrointestinal problems and was not content until he had an answer and I was feeling better. I felt totally confident in his care and assured that I was in the best hands possible. Society needs more great doctors like Dr. Shindy!
Dr. Shindy is not only Doctor , it's friendly Doctor that make you understand your condition in the most easy words , very friendly, definitely I do recommended to friends and family
I was a long time patient of Dr. Shindy. He was always very caring and was on top of what I needed. While it was hard to get appointments at times, he was accommodating when I had an urgent issue.
Dr showed up 20 mins late. If I'm late to my colonoscopy, he cancels me and makes me wait. I was told by the nurse that I would get to watch the procedure under a lighter sedation. Dr. walked in, shook my hand, did small talk while he rudely continued his cell phone viewing. Basically, he didn't care what I was saying. I was given the sedation and I woke up in the waiting room -- no viewing/no conversation about such with Dr. I had a few things show up on the report. ZERO communication.
