She just closed her practice and did not notify her patients. My son is struggling to find a replacemnt doctor in time to refill his meds. Not good.
Dr Waldron is a rare find. Dr. Waldron has helped me through some very tough times. I am now healthy and grateful for Dr Ann Waldron, I don't know what I am going to do without you. Thank you for all of your help through the years.
Dr. Waldron is an expert psychiatrist; particularly astute at medication management and listening to client's. She is very caring. I've seen several psychiatrists over the past 30 years and appreciate her calm approach. If you are mild to moderate she may be a very good option. Keep in mind there is a 50% deficit in psychiatrists nationally so I make it a point to THANK her for seeing me and doing what she does! I've been seeing her for a few years now and managing my anxiety/depression!
I was lucky to find Dr. Waldron as soon as I moved to Reno, NV. She gained my respect immediately, as her approach is scientific and her knowledge vast. She is aware of changes in my behavior in seconds when I'm unaware of them myself. She pays attention. She is intuitive and smart and partners with me in treating my illness, rather than resorting to the notes she took last visit to remember who I am, and proceed to the prescription pad. This is a first for me. She gives me hope.
Dr. Waldron listens to my concerns and issues and gives very good specific answers to questions and concerns. She has really tried to figure out the course of treatment best for me while still making me feel autonomous in my mental health. Also Rick who works at the front desk is really nice; the whole practice feels comfortable and puts me at ease, which is nice considering I'm seeing her for anxiety.
Dr. Waldron is wholeheartedly compassionate & wise within her practices/ethics in her field. She is someone I am 100% comfortable confiding in, I honestly look forward to our visits every three months. I know it may no bet as easy for everyone due to the nature of psychiatric meds, but Dr. Waldron did a wonderful job providing me with the meds & support I needed to literally save my life & give me stability. Oh, and her husband Rick, who works the desk is always really calm, smiling & super nice
I required a three month prescription of a controlled substance for travel overseas with the federal government. She told me it is illegal to write a prescription for longer than 30 days. Refusing to look into specifics, she deprived me of help. Despite my providing her the location of the Nevada Board of Pharmacy's law on the matter (NAC 453.450 subsection 4), she refused to consider the possibility of her being incorrect (hint: she is). Extremely arrogant, immature, and unprofessional.
