Love this BBQ! Waldo's has unbelievably good BBQ. I like the chicken sandwich the best, but the pork is really good too. Their sauce is outstanding! Waldo's is an all around great place and a really good deal!

fabulous bbq Visiting AZ my husband and I found this barbecue gem in an unlikely area of the country. The service was outstanding and the food, as good as it gets. The prices were very reasonable also. We will definitely go again when we return to Mesa, AZ.
Okay if you love pork This restaurant has a real backwoods redneck flare to it, and they are proud of it. Pour your salt out of an old ketchup bottle. Just not really my style if I'm spending my money on eating out, but if you really love pork you just might like this place. To me everything there tasted like pork (I suppose because of the way they cook it). I actually thought they had brought me the wrong thing when I ordered chicken and it tasted just like pork to me.
good eats This was a great place. The food was good and fresh and there was more than enough to eat. Also they Cater! The prices are reasonable this is a great place to eat.
I have made this restaurant one of my favorite eating places in Mesa. However, last night we got there 20 minutes before closing on a Sunday night not realizing that the actual closing time was 8 instead of the weekday time of 9 o'clock. A young tall thin man with glasses who was the waiter approached us and in a very aggressive manner threw down the menu and told us they were closing at 8 o'clock. Waldo's BBQ – This restaurant made for a great experience and tasty food. The original Waldo’s is located in central Mesa just East of Greenfield on Main Street.
