The White Plains location of this practice has steadily gone downhill over the course of my 6 yrs as a patient; so much so that I am finding a new GYN. I’ve been left in an exam room for 45 mins without being seen and my surgeon left the practice and I wasn’t informed so, every attempt to schedule my procedure was met with a calendar without available dates (for 4 months)! It’s a real shame to have to find another practice with a pending surgery but, I don’t feel cared for here anymore.
I love Dr. Blackbourne, but Dr. Wilkins is very insensitive.
The actual medical providers at this place are pretty good. My one star review is simply due to the billing and scheduling process or lack thereof. I have two different insurance companies.So I am over insured to receive care here. I called and asked them for an appointment and was told that they have updated their system and I have to do all my paperwork all over again. The staff at this facility has always been outstanding and very professional. I have an issue with the billing dept and how they want the money upfront or they will cancel your appt and charge you. Every time I call billing I have to leave a message, no one ever answers the phone. I've gotten the same bill 2/3 times after I paid it several times and told them I'm paying for my daughter.
