We had a great experience at Zion’s today! My daughter was seen immediately and greeted with kindness and professionalism, which made a wonderful first impression. Dr. Shumate was incredibly thorough and friendly, and even while actively training new team members, he took the time to clearly explain everything to both my daughter (a new patient) and me. The doctor is arrogant and has a smart mouth.
If you have visited this dentist and found him odd or unprofessional, you are correct. I am one of his “ex-wives.” I couldn’t make it through 90 days “married” to Dr. Shumate. He ghosted me for a year so I couldn’t get a divorce. I initially filed for divorce based on “cruelty of treatment.” 6 months after we’re FINALLY divorced, I was still begging him to remove our wedding photos from his Facebook cover page.
