If you have visited this dentist and found him odd or unprofessional, you are correct. I am one of his “ex-wives.” I couldn’t make it through 90 days “married” to Dr. Shumate. He ghosted me for a year so I couldn’t get a divorce. I initially filed for divorce based on “cruelty of treatment.” 6 months after we’re FINALLY divorced, I was still begging him to remove our wedding photos from his Facebook cover page. After the retirement of my longtime (think since childhood) dentist, I was so thrilled to have found Dr. Shumate’s practice. From his bedside demeanor, professionalism, his team members, a calm and inviting atmosphere, very timely and excellent service, the entire visit is seamless and I no longer dread going to the dentist. Huge bonus, they ensure to schedule the next appointment so you stay on top of your dental care. If you’re looking for a new dentist - make the switch, you won’t regret it.
Dr. Shumate, you're the best!! I thank God for such a wonderful person who cares not only for my dental care but also my health. He's very truthful and has the golden touch. Best dentist ever, five stars is not enough, how about 5 plus plus plus.
I could not ask for a better dental office and Doctor than Dr. Shumate. If you are looking for a new dental home, this is exactly where you want to be.
