Alexis!!! My new favorite massage experience in Chicago! I visited the Waldorf spa for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. But as the massage was starting, the masseuse, Alexis, mentioned that she also does Ashiatsu massage. I had never tried it so I asked her about it and she described it and asked if I wanted to try it. I did. And WOW!! Best massage I’ve ever had!! I will absolutely be back for that experience! The best!!!
I was in Chicago for work and before heading to my next city I wanted to get a classic spa experience, the Waldorf did not disappoint! Everyone was so kind and the service was exceptional. I practically had the steam room, sauna and hot tub to myself since it was in the middle of the day. I got an yummy meal (salmon Caesar salad and a carrot smoothie) and two complimentary glasses of champagne. Then I had my massage and the cherry on top of my experience was Tina. Alyssa went above and beyond my expectations. She relieved tension in my shoulders that I’ve carried for a long time, with movements that were gentle yet deep, precise and intentional. She listened to exactly what I needed and responded beautifully. I left feeling better than when I arrived in Chicago! Thank you, Alyssa, for such a wonderful experience. 💕
A must do in the Chicago area! If you are looking for a massage, you won’t go wrong here. My massage therapist, Gosika did an amazing job and she is my go to therapist for future massage!!!
I stayed at the Waldorf Chicago in May, and treated myself to a last minute massage at the spa. Tina was the absolute best! I have never had such a good deep tissue massage. I was sore for days after (A good thing), and I think she worked out every last knot in my upper back! She was also very personable and professional through the entire experience. Highly recommend Tina!
