We stay at WA Chicago once or twice a year and ALWAYS have a first rate experience. This past weekend we checked in to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday. Demi Devaux and the entire staff went above and beyond. A beautiful room, Happy birthday bear with balloons, a cake and special bath salts all contributed to an epic celebration weekend. Made me a hero to my wife, can’t put a price tag on that. Will be back soon!
Very disappointed- in for Mother's Day on my own. Customer service wasn't at all what I would expect from this level of hotel. Check in was brief and limited. The many times I entered or exited the hotel no greeting from staff or bell hop. Room service food was disappointing with dried chicken and Waldorf salad adequate but no extra items to make the tray look presentable. Just bare bones. Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Chicago was top notch! Every staff member we encountered was warm and helpful, and our room was impeccable with lots of space and a beautiful view from our balcony. Drinks and breakfast were delicious as well. Hope to return!
