Intimate setting. Everyone seated at one table for a preset course meal. Worth at least one try.

Reservations are staggered so the chef can handle the cooking alone. His only aide is a dishwasher. Mayumi Yamasaki is the onlyserver.

The combinations change regularly, but the categories and the format are always the same, with nine courses for $95. It's the deal of the decade, considering the care and quality of thepreparations.

This place is worth the visit. As with most fancy Japanese restaurants I was concerned that I may have to hit a burger joint afterwards. However after the final course, I was stuffed.
