Called four times. Finally heard back on my fourth call and was turned away because my referral expired. Wouldn’t have been expired if you’d called me back the first three times.
My experience at Wake Med Cardio Rehab was beyond my expectations. The entire staff, the volunteer, and the soon to be college graduate were cognizant at all times of patient participants and their vitals. This removed, for me the fear of demanding more output of myself in my journey to recover. The staffs’ respect for the expertise of one another was always evident. This was the worst experience ever my 4 yr old was throwing up blood and upon get there the man said the state my kid was in was not serious enough and that I should go when and if he can’t breathe .. if this what good health care is it’s a joke .. the front desk is extremely rude and I’m ready to take action
Loved the inpatient team they were wonderful. However the outpatient experience was horrible what little dealings we had with them . We were told by Rhonda Howard the manager that they could not obtain the authorization needed because they do not have "Access" to a online portal to obtain the auth . However when I called the insurance to try to do their job for them they told me that they can fax in the auth request. I was referred to this group by my urologist re incontinence. The therapist I saw was Miriam Loughry and she was wonderful. She showed this old man (80) respect, courtesy, outstanding profesionalism and, I think, a proper diagnosis.
