I went today to get an ultrasound for my daughter. The receptionist was rude, I dare say he was racist. We don't speak English. We haven't been in this country long, and he demanded we speak it. He was despotic. I don't know how they have people like that in a place where there should be people with a human spirit.
So I woke up in the middle of the night with heart palpations. I went to them to see what was causing this because it has been happening for a few days... These people tested me for drugs... There was no slurring in my speech, I was standing up right and was coherent. It wasn't until I got home and my wife read back to me the discharge instructions that I found out they ONLY tested me for drugs.. pissed is an understatement. The person calling names this morning was not very friendly. Just very abrupt and unapproachable. I get that you’re busy but you could at least try to act like you like your job. Learn how to handle the stress of a busy waiting area a little better.
The lab team is slacking. I’ve had to have my daughter do a 24 test twice now and it’s really inconvenient on us for them to not run the test her doctor has requested. So we aren’t getting the answers we need. It’s a waste of my time when I have to drive almost 30 minutes to pick up the things needed and to drop them off, for them to not run all the necessary test. I’m not happy or satisfied with the lab technicians. Y’all need to do better.
