During these unprecedented times, WMGLD crews and office staff are making sure you have the power you need to keep your home running smoothly and safely. As your locally-owned public power utility we’re here when you need us – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Thank you for your support as we all navigate this uncharted territory together. #PublicPower

So you can only get power if you pay a deposit to turn it on , ok. Well I did my part but moved August 13th and discontinued my service at which point I was told you will receive your deposit back in about FIVE weeks ! What a joke to begin with but now after 10 weeks and still no return of deposit I'm being told sorry must have got lost and will be reissued in about 4 to 6 weeks and there is nothing I can do about it ! WHAT A JOKE !! Got to love towns . No one in charge to complain to either .

Pretty impressed with how quickly WMGLD responded and resolved the power outage (due to a squirrel, I think) on the corner of Main St & Quannapowitt Ave tonight. Service restored in just over a half hour! Thank you!!

We lost power a little over an hour ago. It sounded like a transformer blew (loud boom just before we lost power). I called it in, heard back from a technician about 10 minutes after I called, and they arrived shortly after that. Problem is already resolved and power is back on! Feel grateful to have such a responsive power company and that this did not happen during the Bruins game tonight. Thank you!
