RecommendedA big thank you to Dr Mary Kirk and her staff for the 18+ years they cared for my dog Toby! From the day we got him till the day they compassionately saw him go asleep, they have been the most caring and pleasant people. Would not consider going anywhere else!
Last Sunday my dog was rushed to the emergency vet because his eye was cloudy and swollen. They recommended us to follow up with our primary vet and an ophthalmologist. We went to Dr. Kirk on Tuesday and she talked us out of going to the ophthalmologist so she could do surgery. She then insisted on removing his eye and told us he would be blind no matter what. We went to Willow Run for a second opinion, where we learned that she resutured his eye and moved his third eye lid over it which was extremely painful for my dog. So ... read more
Dr. Kirk and her staff have been excellent for our pets through out the years. It says something that she does not have staff turnover. I remember how patient and kind she was when we arrived with our dying 14 year old basset hound. I spent the afternoon calling the vet hospital multiple times for advice and they told me to bring Sherlock in right away. I'm not sure if I bumped someone else's appointment. She was kind and compassionate. Her staff is awesome too...always helpful and kind.
This animal hospital is absolutely terrible. We took our cat there today because he randomly collapsed. Dr. Kirk took her good old time coming to him because “she had to let her dogs out”, meanwhile, our cat is dying. She finally takes him back to the room and says “this is a dead cat”. Then proceeds to charge us $57. If you can avoid this place at any cost, please do. This horrible place doesn’t deserve your money, and your pets certainly don’t deserve the care they give.
Absolutely the best! Dr. Kirk & staff TRULY CARES about you and your pet. She goes above and beyond. 💙💜

Our dogs have always been well taken care of by Mary and her staff. She is very knowledgeable, cares about every animal that comes into her, and prices are very reasonable.
I love the staff here. Dr. Kirk is amazing; I trust her completely with my fur babies and any recommendations she gives!
