Don’t go here if you need pain medication unless you were just shot or had surgery, they won’t give you anything but Tylenol. TYLENOL!!! I spent 3 hours in the ER trying to get something for my infected throat that was in unbearable pain. Got a strep test and came back negative. I had a virus so they gave me a prescription for Tylenol and Robitussin??? In other words, don’t come here unless you are about to die.
I had open heart surgery and I couldn't ask for better care. They made this experience as comfortable as possible! They were generous with pain meds, I just preferred not to take them.
I have been here seen times over the last few months visiting different friends. Each time I have found the staff to be very helpful. Especially when tryouts to find where I am supposed to be. Each time instead of giving me directions they have walked me to within eyesight of where I wanted to be. I can never speak from a patient perspective but as a visitor this hospital ranks high.
