Excellent dermatologist – I have been going to Dr. Nasir for four years, twice a year and find him very thorough and thoughtful. He caught some precancerous melanoma that another dermatolgist had dismissed when I asked him about the growths. He always spends as much time as I need, explains everything without being alarmist. I've never had any problems with insurance and he is generous with samples. I would recommend him to anyone.

Money is more important than medical care – This organization cares more about money than giving medical care! I went to see them for cancer on my neck a few years ago and medically they did a fine job. I had trouble getting the insurance company to pay and ended up paying $1000 out of pocket since Wake dermatology charges were so high. I worked for 90 days to get it resolved with the insurance company, and told the dermatologist office I was working on it - they turned it over to a collection agency after I had already sent... read more

Be careful who you choose to be your doctor – Dr. Nasir was very brief when he saw me. Maybe less than 2 minutes. He walked in, pulled out his magnify glass, and then began writing prescription to pills and topical gel that I have already tried. I told him I already have used these medicines and he said he is "Optimistic." That really ticked me off. I thought ok, ill see if hes right, hes the doctor. A real real stuck up doctor who doesnt care for his patients and about what they say.

Kind and Caring – At the beginning of the summer I developed a horrible scalp rash. It was so bad that I could barely go 5 minutes without tearing at the skin on my scalp. Everything burned, and worst of all, I was losing hair by the handfuls. Being a woman, this was especially traumatic. I went to my GP who prescribed clobetasol for seb. dermatitis - which didn't work. Then she sent me to a "dermatologist" who basically diagnosed me from the doorway (didn't even LOOK at my scalp) with the same thing and said there was nothi... read more

Wake Dermatology of Raleigh NC...... Review – WOW - I never thought I would think of going to a Dr as a great experience, But Wake Dermatology takes care of all my families needs, and my personal PA Samantha Byrd-Connor is just AWESOME. She is intelligent while not being condescending. and very friendly. My wife raves about her Dr as well (Dr Turverson). Although we have moved further away from the office we wouldn't think about going anywhere else. If you are looking for a dermatologist for any age person I HIGHLY recommend... read more

Great Patient Care! – I have been going to wake dermatology for a few years now and love my PA Samantha Byrd-Connor! She remembers me every time I go in, and is always quick to respond with my results! She has a great "bedside manner" and a very comforting personality. I never dread going to the dermatologist because I know my PA is intelligent and will always take care of any skin issues I may have! I highly recommend Wake Dermatology!

Don't be a "new" patient or you might die of skin cancer first! – I had heard great things about this practice, however because I was a new patient I was unable to schedule an appointment until 7 weeks out!!!!! Its June and I couldn't even be looked at until August. Needless to say, I called Blue Ridge Dermatology and got right in. Very disappointing!

Best dermatologist in town – I have been going to this office for quite some time. I saw and have been seeing Dr Tuveson. She is the best. She diagnosied me right away and does not hesitate to call you if needed. Who knew that there were Dr's that still called you at home to check on you. Best service I have ever had. You cant go wrong here Thanks Wake Dermatology

PROBABLY SAVED MY LIFE – I WENT TO WAKE DERMATOLOGY RECENTLY ABOUT A MOLE ON MY LEG. WHILST I WAS THERE THE DOCTOR GAVE ME A VISUAL CHECK UP AND FOUND A MELANOMA I DID NOT KNOW I HAD. I HAVE SINCE UNDERGONE SURGERY - HAD IT NOT BEEN REMOVED I WOULD HAVE HAD A MUCH MORE GRIM PROGNOSIS. SO I RECKON THEY SAVED MY LIFE - NOT A BAD RECOMMENDATION IS IT ??
