I've stayed here when Mama was in charge and staying here now with Danny Offutt in charge There's a big difference between the two. Mama was strict and fair She had rules and tried her best to enforce them. Danny has rules and he is the worst violator of them. He said only single occupant per room but he had a girl who used to go with someone else who lived here living with him now. He has been caught going into people rooms and taking stuff. Update for 19 October 2022: the noise problems I mentioned when I first posted this review no longer seem to be an issue anymore. I cannot speak about the people who are living there and what the quality of life is like for them. Furthermore, I haven’t seen HPD have to respond to an incident at this address for quite awhile. The name of the place is actually Korean and is pronounced “Waikiki Minbag”, which means “Waikiki Bed and Breakfast”. I have never stayed there, but live in the area. I love mama Cho. This place is a trip. If you like to trip out and enjoy the magic of the Hawaiian spirit realm, then this is a great place. It's affordable and there's a interesting crowd. Mama Cho is a spirit woman who knows about old school magic. Danny is a gaslighter so watch it. Ricky is a scrub that I beat up. I love you Mama Cho. Peace be with you.
Well first of all I have nothing negative to say about Mamas Mansion. I have been staying here for a while now, and I like it . I feel very comfortable here everybody helps each other out and it's like one big family. It's kept very clean, washer & dryer, big kitchen, secured gate with enough parking inside the gate. Alamoana center ,DonQuiote, Walmart, Target 🎯, the beach and Waikiki is all in walking distance. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway and a taste of Local living.
I arrived pretty late, the owner was a sweet older Asian woman and welcomed me and my husband in with all of the nessisary toiletries. The house was spick and span clean. Beautiful marble floors. We had a corner room with our own bathroom across the hall. It's a 12 bedroom house so we did see people in passing, every one was polite. Even friendly with directions.
