The story of WGH plays a big part in the history of the Central Oahu Community it serves. I have had to take my son to Wahiawa Gen, on different occasions, and we've had great customer service, from admission to the nurses and the doctors and technicians.. all have been kind and caring! Thank you Dr. Bamber and your team for training great care of my son. Im sure we'll be back, hopefully not too soon!
My 3 kids were born here. Staff are great and they take good care of you...most bigger hospitals will start processing your discharge paper right after you give birth, not WGH, they'll make sure you have recovered well and capable.
Why should the state bail you out??? Cold food, get forced out if no insurance, dirty, dirty, dirty, too bad queens or kaiser didn't want to buy you!! They not stupid!!
I was born at this hospital so that makes it awesome by default.
I can remember working there as a Candy Stripper (hope I spelled that correctly)back in the 70's...just loved the environment.
