I just love this place..... since I moved south I miss the Wagon Wheel the most. Great food, good people.... and lots of fun times.... every time I come back to Madison I cant wait to get to the Wheel for some good times with all my peepes. you ROCK Max and Susan
I have ate at the Wagon Wheel more times than I can remember, back to when Jimmy & Mitzy owned it. It is not a 5 star Restaurant. It is a Bar/Restaurant. They deal with so many people they cannot cater to everyone. As far as the lady before, I have never known any Restaurant/Bar,etc.. That would give you all flat wings. So give you all of one kind and who cares if the rest of the customers have to eat the others? Seriously? The food is very good. Except the place for what it is, your local Neighborhood Bar!
We love their wings, pizza and soups. I agree that sometimes service is slow. But the food is always worth it!
Three of us went there last night to eat their steak dinner all you can eat they had the worst service ever. They had three chances with one steak to get it right and could not. Then I says to the bar owner after using the restroom did you ever think of getting incense so you can stand it in there he pretty much blew me off and said I've been here for 28 years is there anything else you can tell me about running my business.
