I changed my review to a 3 from a 1. After feeling vrbo wasnt able to help I called Wagner corporate office. Spoke with Ms. **** who was very understanding and called back within 24hrs. They are unable to refund tax and vrbo fee but gave us refund on the rest. She was so apologetic and knows we would have preferred to have had a wonderful vacation. She right but by being compensated we can possibly try again.
We were under the impression that we were able to access the beach from the condo. Was very misleading . This was important due to us both being disabled. The condo was infested with termites. we were told they were ants. Gave us ant trap. This was on first day. Also complained about the odor of sewage and pet urine. Told us it was just musty would go away with ac on. Only later to find out it was a plumbing issue and pet urine. My parents’ listing agent accidentally entered the wrong commission amount in MLS. Once it came to his attention, both the buyer’s agent and the broker at Wagner lacked any empathy and refused to budge. This agent made much more than the industry standard on this transaction at the cost of my parents’ agent. People make mistakes and they had the opportunity to do the right thing and chose not to. A company that values its customers!
False advertising. They have a condo described as “panoramic views of the beach from your balcony” what they fail to mention is there’s a house being built right in front of that balcony, completely blocking any possible view. Unbelievable that I complained about this in 2018 and they STILL have it listed this way. Furthermore, refusing to offer a refund to customers during a national emergency? Seriously? See attached photo for “panoramic views of the beach from your balcony”
