They lied to get me to sign a lease. I was told I could choose which parking space in a brand new parking lot I would have, but after I made my deposit on the unit, which I chose for ease of parking, I was told that I could only use another, much more inconvienent space. Secondly, they charged me 45 dollars for a parking pass to park in another space, however that space was constantly occupied by other cars during the month and the pass was not delivered to me during the period I paid for. Mr. ******* parking spot was assigned - and outlined in section 10.1 of his lease. This was agreed and executed on 9/27/2018. We didn't require the tenants to pay for the parking spots until 12/1/2018. According to this lease, his parking charge is $35 per month. Mr. ***** was prorated six days worth of this parking fee for the time he didn't have his parking tag. During this time, he still had access to the parking spot agreed upon in his lease.
Very dishonest managment. They told me when applying I could pick my parking spot, so I chose a unit specifically for ease of parking. Then, when I moved in, after paying a deposit to secure the lease for that specific unit, I was made to sign an additional document for the parking permit. I had no choice but to sign it since not moving in would have left me without a residence. The managment refuses to give me a parking spot by my unit, even though they are all unoccupied.
