Thanks Rita! As someone who works in customer service, I was on the verge of walking out tonight due to the slow service. Upon entering, my group and I were left unattended for 15-20 minutes, with no staff acknowledging us. Just as we were about to leave, the wonderful Rita approached us and explained that the entire third shift had not yet arrived, and the current team was hours past their scheduled time to leave. The worst waffle house in the south. 9 employees and still managed to not get anything done. 5 groups just straight left while we were there. Not one table around us got the correct order. They never bothered to bus any of the tables. My wife's waffle was raw. There was a bottle of Tabasco with a hair on it at the bar. 5 employees not only walked by but looked at it and notices it. Not one of them took it away or bothered to clean it let alone cover it. Not one person was happy to be there.

Took over an hour on food and was not sympathetic and did not apologize or try to help the customers

It was super busy when we arrived. Manager did an excellent job of navigating and controlling the crowd. Really wish there were more locations closer to San Antonio.
