Was really looking forward to my waffles. I get to work and find no butter and no syrup. I even tipped...for a carryout, which is stupid. Being expected to add a tip BEFORE pickup is even worse. Pretty sure when you're sitting at a restaurant waffles come with butter and syrup, I never had to specifically ask for that. Updated on 6/23/2026 Happened again. No butter. No syrup...when a tip was added. Guess it's a trend here. SMH.
Lighting struck a light pole 30 yards from us while we were in Waffle House. The lights went out but the crew kept cooking and serving. The lights came back immediately.
