i’ve never heard of Waffle House being closed to get ready for DoorDash, but that was the excuse that they gave me when I walked in. I’m calling BS on that story. All the employees were just sitting around. It made no sense at 1:49 PM.

4/24/2026 1:10 pm The food was good overall; however, I had to request a replacement for my waffle because it was hard and partially burnt. Unfortunately, the service was unacceptable. The waitress on duty at 1:10 PM approached our table and abruptly dropped the napkins and silverware. My girlfriend asked if she was okay or having a bad day, but she did not respond and walked away.
