Very nice doctor.
A drunk driver struck me from behind while I was stopped at a stop sign, traveling approximately 65 mph. The force of the impact pushed us into a busy roadway. The pain was so severe that I truly believed my back had been broken. Dr. Wadhwa is not only an exceptional surgeon, but also a truly compassionate soul. He performed two back surgeries on me, and I am deeply grateful for the care he provided. I would highly recommend Dr. Wadhwa to anyone in need of an outstanding back surgeon.
Dr. Wadhwa was the second neurosurgeon to actually LISTEN to me and take me seriously about my pain. First one dismissed me and said it was my should and cost me time. Dr. Wadhwa did everything possible to locate where the pain was coming from. Once found, he got me right in and did my surgery. I had titanium plates and discs put in c5-c7. I was experiencing lower back pain and sciatica pain for several years. After my primary doctor took xrays, several times he couldn't find anything wrong. He even ordered physical therapy to see if it would benefit me. But to no avail, it didn't. I decided to make an appointment with the Spinal Institute of Shreveport. I had a very good experience with Dr. Wadhwa. I had a double disc replacement in my neck, extremely good outcome. He and his PA are very attentive and explain things well. I would highly recommend them.
