First of all, if I could give ‘0’ stars I would. Before my appointment the staff tried to change my appointment time ahead 30 mins without any correspondence. You have to have a driver, do definitely a no go! Had to show up an hour before my scheduled appointment and then sit there waiting with no regard for the patients time. LVN started reading off my med list, (on one med) which wasn’t on the list but several other meds were…how? I’d never been there before. They used propofol for sedation (awful). Wow! I've had two births: one at Hillcrest and one at Providence hospital and unfortunately, neither was a great experience. Between rude nurses, technicians, and anesthesiologists, I've had my fair share of stressful medical visits. But wow... I have to give credit where it's due. The team at Waco Gastroenterology Center was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. I was so nervous throughout this entire process, but they made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Nice friendly people. I got there early, but didn’t have to wait at all. Dr HANU ANCHA was thorough, respectful, and talked with me for quite awhile. It made me feel very comfortable.
I was extremely impressed with everyone I came in contact with from the check in desk, PA and the doctor. All were very polite and seemed to enjoy their job. Explanations were easy to follow and understand. I felt fully prepared for all procedures.
I was wowed by the very atmosphere when I walked in. Smiling, courteous and even friendly young lady to check me in. I wasn’t even sitting 5 minutes and I was called back. The young lady walked us back to a room. She was so personable and not clinically standoffish. We answered questions, did vitals and she assured us Dr Levings would be right with us. Maybe five minutes later she came through the door. Professional. Greeted us with eye contact, firm hand shake and warm welcoming smile. She asked questions and answered ours.... read more
