So unexpectedly great. That's how I'd describe the equine therapy sessions at WA Equine Assisted Learning with Lina. Some additional context: My partner (Juema) has always been interested in exploring equine-assisted therapy. When traditional therapy (CBT) wasn't providing the support she needed, she stumbled upon Lina and the services she offered. Fast-forward to today. Lina is absolutely brilliant working with children. My son has autsim and the way she has been able to connect with him and take the time to help him build that connection with her beautiful horses is amazing. Seeing my son smile and seeing and feeling that happiness come from the heart when he is with the horses is unforgettable. He hasn't smiled like that for so long. After the sessions he is more calm and relaxed and can process things better. I definitely recommend equine therapy with Lina it's truly amazing.
Had my 7 sessions, amazing place , amazing therapist, so peaceful and welcoming. The horses are lovely, friendly, safe, I bonded with them so well. I’ve learnt so much from them. I have autism and have an hard time processing information at normal therapist places. Doing horse therapy you’re in a safe and calming environment, it Chanel’s all senses in an amazing way, I’ve grown so much and learned so many life long skills I use everyday. I’ll be keeping on attending. I would highly recommend to everyone. 😊
I have attended one on one sessions with Lina and the herd and also the group workshops. Lina is very professional, caring and understanding of each persons situations and needs. From these sessions I have improved recognising body sensations through my 5 senses which helped me be present, this was unified with breathwork.
