Had the best time at W melbourne. Stayed here last night as we were celebrating a special occassion. Upon entering excellent customer service was provided by Fretzie. She gave us an upgrade and really made our day special. She was very friendly and really made us feel welcomed. The staff in the hotel were all amazing. The rooms were outstanding!! Couldnt recommend this hotel enough. W melbourne will definitely be our go to for staycations.
Ok so check in was great. All staff lovely. But the room.. it’s ok. Terrible water pressure in shower. And the air conditioner in the room is woeful. With unit on 18c it took 3 hours to cook room down as I like a cold room. That was on full speed. The bar called curious. Well it’s a good name as I curious what it’s like. 6pm prior to heading out for dinner we thought let’s pop down for drink, only to he told nope we have a booking for 140 guests tonight. I am writing this review while I am staying in W Brisbane. I had a fantastic stay in W Melbourne. One of the best check in experience I have ever had with a young gentleman assisting me named O'conner. He was super knowledgeable and gave me some hints in terms of my next time bookings. I was really impressed with his level of service and professionalism. W hotel is in a very convenient location. In room dining food was also super efficient as well as top notch. We recently hosted our Easy Weddings EVOLVE26 Conference at The W Melbourne and what an event it was, the team and the service level was incredible from initial event concept, to bump in the day prior through until bump out.
