I respect Mr. Willie Mays and his Mother Carrie, who operated this family-run business when I first met these wonderful people more than 30 years ago. May Mortuary handled the services for my mentor Mr. Jay Mann aka Jan Hutchens shortly after I moved from Augusta 20 years ago. I could not attend the funeral but I trusted Willie to handle Jay's funeral with respect. They also handled arrangements for many other community leaders and their families.
