For 15 years I have had sever osteoarthritis in both my knees. The pain caused me to retire about 10 years ago. I have had several doctors in those 15 years and all of them prescribed different drugs for the pain. Pain drugs make my thinking foggy and I cannot write computer programs while I use them. On top of that they only relive about 50% of pain. Tramadol help me the most but the FDA recently reclassified tramadol as a class 3 drug.
