We didn’t stay at the hotel but were attending a theater close by who said that the W would keep my daughter’s camera while at the show. We were charged $5 to leave the camera. On pickup we were treated very rudely by the doorman. We were pointedly told that we were not welcome to enter the hotel and indeed told that we were lucky that they offered this service. This review is about the W lounge. A very cool place to hang out on weekends if you want to stay away from the crowded clubs. The music is always good with a good mixture of old shool hits and contemporary vibes. A variety of drinks to choose from. The crowd is.more mature. A very safe environment where you won't have to worry about people fighting. They also have late bites as well. As always in Boston, parking is a nightmare. Valet parking is a bit expensive.Â
It's a pretty decent place and close to the T (green line). BUT can be very noisy with the street, thumping cars stereo, screaming sirens, screeching brakes, honking horns, big trash trucks,....you name it, it roars down Stuart Street 24/7. I have ear plugs and can tolerate it (barely) at night. The most major negative for me is that there is no food available from the kitchen after 11pm (Friday and Saturday is a generous hour longer to midnight)!! Just got back from my 3 day vacation for me and my girlfriend for our one year anniversary I can’t say enough how amazing this hotel is to the people at the front desk to the maids and the door men to the bar in the lobby it’s was truly amazing the rooms were very clean. When we checked out they were truly so nice keeping our bags and refrigerating our food items while we went to the f1 arcade. Highly recommend this HotelÂ
