I have stayed at the W Boston before, and unfortunately, this hotel has gone from “Whatever/Whenever” to “Whenever We Finally Renovate.” The property is tired, worn, and starting to feel seriously outdated. They did a refresh after COVID, but calling it a renovation feels generous. It was more like the hotel changed its shirt and hoped nobody noticed the pants were falling apart. The hotel is fine but do not stay here if you want to get any sleep. I don’t know why, but apparently the street out front is where people park in the middle of the street and playing their music so loud that the base shook my 14th floor room all night. I’m writing this at 5:19 am after being woken up by it before 4 am and they are still sitting out there going strong. Happened both nights of our stay. Very noisy! Be aware if you are a light sleeper. The check in staff do not care and don’t try to find a quieter room. Even being an Elite member has no privileges here. I’m awake before 6am writing this review on only a few hours of sleep because of the street noise.
Great location, but Since breakfast is not buffet , it’s killing morning time
