Visit it. The food is very fresh and flavorful. I have been coming to this restaurant ever since I was a little girl, way back when they haven't even remodled the place. Their best dish is banh khot.

Vung Tau Restaurant I like the food there, esp. their shrimp noodle soup. They have authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The prices are kinda high....and parking isnt the easiest to find.
Good stuff – fresh ingredients. tasty stuff. I always like to try at least one dish that's unfamiliar and this place seems to be have pretty consistent good food.
Awesome Upscale Vietnamese Restaurant – I owed Vung Tau a good review. I have dined here on multiple occasions and had wonderful experience every time. Consistently good Vietnamese food, although pricier – Vung Tau (we prefer the Milpitas location) has been our favorite Vietnamese restaurant since the mid 90's. Their dishes have gotten pricier since they've renovated their other San Jose location which is why we don't go as often. However, if you have the budget to spring for the highest priced tamarind shrimp which is in the mid-20 dollar range, you will definitely impress.
