I went to see Dr Vu Lee with severe lower back pain that was debilitating, and I was always in pain. He was very attentive to all questions and concerns and did not rush me. He recommended conservative treatment first such as physical therapy, acupuncture, and if that did not work then he would give me an epidural injection. After the first epidural, it wore off in a few days, so I had another one and it also didn't last long. Dr. Le is by far the best neurosurgeon I have ever met in the United States. He truly goes above and beyond for his patients and genuinely cares about their recovery. I had a lumbar disc fusion surgery with him in 2021, and I’m now fully recovered — I can run, jump, and live an active life without any issues. What really stands out is his patience and kindness. Dr. Le was absolute fantastic. Nobody likes surgeries, but Dr. Le made me feel comfortable on the initial consult. He explained in details on the pros and cons aka risk assessments. Like any other surgical procedure, there will be risk and potential complications, which I either have to accept or not. The staff attention to detail and care, from the initial consultation to the post-surgery, follow-ups, made the entire process smooth and reassuring. Thanks a lot for it. I really appreciate it.
