My mother and I made the difficult decision to put our 17 year old pug down. We did not want to wait until our primary vet opened as our pug was clearly suffering too much and it was only about 2am (our primary vet opens at 8am). We called another emergency hospital before calling VRCC and they required an exam beforehand even though my mother and I both knew it was time. We called VRCC next (I was scrolling through the internet to find 24 hour vets) and the staff was so kind and welcoming both on the phone and in person. Th... read more
GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! We took our dog to VRCC after he couldn't stop vomiting one night. We waited for 3 hours while they ran tests. He had pancreatitis caused from having diabetes. We did not know that he had diabetes. The vet said we should keep him there overnight so they could get his pancreatitis under control. He was there for a week. We visited him once and twice per day to try to get him to eat because if he didn't eat then they wouldn't release him to us. He would eat for us, but not for them. He was very scare... read more
A huge thank you to Dr. Lane & his amazing staff! My boy is so happy to be home. 🥰
I called ahead of time yesterday & confirmed I could bring my foster pup in to be accessed by a tech in the parking lot for a potential emergency situation. Drove 1/2 hr to get there. Called when I arrived & was told, sorry can't help, there's a 3 hr wait. Are you kidding me?!?!?! It didn't matter what I was told on the phone earlier. This is completely unacceptable. My foster pup could've died. She didn't thanks to Animal Urgent Care in Arvada, who helped us immediately. I would never recommend VRCC/Englewood to anyone afte... read more
Very unhappy that my sons dog died from blood poisoning 4 days after Cardiac treatment by Dr. Orr. I was there and this was a very difficult situation. Dr. Orr was also there and did nothing to try to help. Very unprofessional. I would never recommend this doctor or this practice.
Care is always good. Because of COVID we had to wait in our car. I think they forgot about us because we waited 2 1/2 hrs before she was even taken back , then another 30 min to see the Dr. Assuming because everyone waits outside it's easy to lose track of those waiting.
We had to take our 11 year old Boston Terrier in earlier this week. He ended up having pneumonia and required xrays and a two night stay. The treatment team did an amazing time caring for our baby and his mom who was a mess. They were kind and reassuring every time I called for an update. I could tell they genuinelyl cared about my dog. The bill was even less than I expected for the care that was required. They saved my dog's life and I will be forever grateful.
Business response:

High quality of care, and honest and informative direction especially when faced with tough quality of life questions.
The vets at VRCC radiation/oncology and surgery are absolutely awesome!! We went in last Tuesday and found out our pup had osteosarcoma in his leg. He got amputated yesterday. They made this whole process easy for us to understand, answered all my questions, and they called with plenty of updates about our pup. Everyone was so kind and patient, we really appreciate their support.
