Negligent treatment of pets and their owners.
VRCC does not provide actual 24-hour critical care veterinary care as they advertise. In fact, their vets only assess patients once per day in the morning. VRCC's overnight shift vets do NOT monitor ICU patients and will not provide any updates, so it is actually a 12-hour care facility. When I called to check on my pet during the overnight shift, I was told that the overnight vets only assess and treat new, incoming patients and do provide any care or monitoring for previously admitted patients. We’ve had two difficult situations with VRCC with two of our dogs recently. We took our 13-year-old dog there, referred by another emergency room and our vet as he needed an ultrasound as he was jaundice. The vets that worked with us were very nice and empathetic and professional. However, the vet techs and receptionists, for the most part, lacked empathy, with one vet tech, Sarah, even asking me at 11 PM at night if I wanted to come get our dog and take him to another emergency room when I wanted details on how our dog was ... read more
RecommendedVRCC did my 8 year old boarder collies TPLO surgery. They where ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She is only 1 week out and she is walking great. So happy with how the surgery went and the staff is amazing. In 16 week Dally will be a new lady ❤️
VRCC has helped both of our pups recover from emergency situations over the years. Recommend.
Kudos to VRCC! Bella’s first radiation treatment went amazing. Not only do they take excellent care of her, but they know that we live 4 hours away and they do her radiation first thing in the morning so that we can get home!
My kitty had an electrocardiogram in the care of Dr Derek Haynes. He was FABULOUS . He came out personally and told me everything he did and went over the entire report with me. Was thrilled my kitty has a good heart - a diff doctor said she had a heart murmur which she does not.
