She left a massive unstitched wound on my cervix after a DnC and Laparoscopy. I was bleeding through several of those large pads they give you after giving birth onto the hospital bed. My good friend was pregnant with twins, went into labor ended up having a c-section shortly after she had to be rushed to UAB where they found out her bile had been nicked during her C-sectionSadly, she went septic and succumbed to her injuries Now her kids have to live never knowing their mom!!Something should have been done, this was a little over two years ago.I will forever tell my friends story, as I see there has been many others that have suffered under her treatment
She does not value her patients time and her bedside manner is just cruel , she does not care about comfort or pain relief. After a procedure she does not take into consideration that antibiotics may be needed to prevent infection. After surgery the patient should be provided at least a mild pain medication. Most importantly assess your patient Dr. Voss after the procedure especially when you make a mistake that is life threatening. Literally the worst pick for an obgyn. I should have reported this lady to the hospital but I had just had twins and after a difficult delivery, I just happy they were here. Short story, she was condescending during prenatal appts but friendly enough. I went into premature labor with my twins at 25 weeks and they gave me medicine to slow it down. She was wonderful Took her time and answered ALL my questions before and after surgery. I need a revision and hoping and praying she can do it.
Very knowledgeable about my issue, confident, very comfortable to talk to as well. Very professional yet Very comfortable atmosphere with staff, nurses and Dr. Will be returning!!!
Dr. Voss and her staff are truly exceptional. She performed a DiVinci hysterectomy on me and I couldn't be happier with my care or recovery. I didn't have any pain, which shocked me, and my recovery far exceeded my expectations. I'm truly grateful for Dr. Voss, her skill and knowledge, and her staff. I would highly recommend her and that procedure to anyone who may need it.
Dr. Voss has delivered or been my primary ob for all 3 of my pregnancies. I had a complication with my 2nd daughter that required a higher level NICU than Flowers offered so I had to deliver her elsewhere. She has been an amazing doctor. I am a high risk patient that requires lots of visits, lots of testing and follow ups. She will see me any time I need her. Sometimes there is a wait but she is worth it! She will sit down with me as long as needed. I can’t say enough good things!
I have been seeing Doctor Asha Voss for many years. She is very professional and smart and kind! I trust her and look forward to her evaluation of my health. She is a happy person despite the fact that her office is very busy with non-stop clients who see her. She always has a smile. I think she is a wonderful person and Physician! Dothan is fortunate to have Doctor Voss practicing here!
