This month (May, 2025) I had the Vortechs HVAC company located in Wakefield RI service my 21-year-old home AC unit. Just like last year, Hunter was the tech. He showed up on time and did a thorough maintenance on the unit. He was polite and courteous and extremely knowledgeable about all the questions I had. We had AJ come out and give us a quote for a heat pump. He did a great job. Unfortunately the timing didn’t work since they couldn’t do the job for a few months and we had a newborn baby and our AC was broken. AJ was very understanding, but Wendy wasn’t. Fast forward a few years, we needed a new oil boiler and second AC unit, and after scheduling an appointment to have AJ come out, we got a call back from Wendy saying we’re on the “no service list” and canceled the appointment because their first quote was a lot of work and ... read more
