DO NOT RECOMMEND! I like Dr. Perno but not this DAVID! Went for routine cleaning, but David insisted I HAD to have X-rays! Why? Nothing has changed, no issues with my teeth etc! He refused to do cleaning without X-rays! Money grab? The formation of my mouth makes X-rays painful, they HAVE THAT IN MY CHART! He refused to offer any alternative, try to accommodate me so I left. Was able to contact 3 other dentists right away who had NO PROBLEM ACCOMMODATING ME! I wasted my time with this clown, don’t go there!
13 years later 03/2026 - Dr. Perno retired and I was a little apprehensive about getting a new dentist after all this time. I'm going on record that this review still holds. The office is still great, and Dr. David is awesome! He's brought new technology with options available now. Friendly, knowledgeable and patient, I felt comfortable immediately. First time meeting Dr. David!! I must say in 60 years, this is the first time I felt no discomfort in getting dental work done! It was painless and he was very thorough! Dr. David is such a pleasure along with his wonderful staff!! I would highly recommend him!
Doc and his staff are an extremely kind and easy to work with group. Doc is very patient and is especially gentle and careful to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. His assistant is very personable and kind, and will remember you. Everyone from the wonderful ladies at the front desk to the hygienist are very kind, respectful and professional. They are truly masters of their craft! I have never liked a dentist office before now. They are awesome!
Dr. David is very thorough and cares about his patients. I love the entire Voorhees Family Dentistry team! When you have awesome people taking care of you, doesn’t make going to the dentist so bad.
