If you’re wondering why we have so much fun serving you our food it’s because we don’t know any better. We opened our first location in the heart of New Orleans in 2002 on Mardi Gras day on the parade route. It’s been a party ever since!! It was as good as I remember the first time I ate it years ago at the St Rose location
I love the Jerk Chicken sandwich. Maybe it should be named Tchopped Chicken bbq sandwich, but it is delicious. All white meat chunks piled high on a soft bun with a great sauce. Yum, I'm hungry for one now.
the worst BBQ i have ever had. You would be better off with the MCrib next door. never going again.
Had a great experience at the location in New Haven. The food tasted great!
Completely failed to advertise that you are a 21+ establishment, so we just assumed that since you have a kids menu that you are a kid friendly restaurant. We were quickly dismissed at the door by a snotty and unprofessional hostess, who not only failed to offer us take out but says to my kids as they leave "see you in 20yrs." Nice way to run a business!
Whats The Point of Having a Kids Menu when there not allowed in the door??
just had the fried shrimp poboy and it was amazing. the corn pudding is a side dish that I would get with every meal. the food is great and so is the service. i recommend all visit this place on Manhattan Ave. also make sure u get the corn pudding.
Wow!!!! Everything about my food was Aces! The corn/cornbread pudding was the best, and I'm pretty sure I could eat it just as a meal on its own. The Beignets are soooo yummy, and just everything....everything was well seasoned and tender and juicy and delicious! I can't wait to have more! #thebest #newhavenlocation #goodeats #cantwaitformore
Had the red beans and sausage was greatly pleased...love the corn bread and the potato salad was excellant...everything was excellant.
