At Vons on Horizon in Henderson, I noticed that only a few of the many employees were not wearing face masks or gloves abut when the employee, who was filling up the potato bin sneezed (although into her shirt, she clearly sneezed on her hand) and I asked if Vons does not give them masks, Her reply, "they do, but it's up to her if she wants to wear them." #cdc CDC Global When asked the manager why those who are handling our fresh food are not wearing masks, although she seemed concerned, said some find it hard to breath. In spite of assurances to the contrary, at 7:00 AM on Thursday 3/19 they were allowing everyone in the store regardless of age. I am 65, and six weeks post open heart surgery. How dare you make a promise you did not intend to keep.
RecommendedI also like the ambiance of the store except they ran out of wipes and toilet papers. The customers should be given limitations to purchase to avoid panic buying and help those seniors that didn’t have extra funds to buy more than they usual weekly purchases.
