Sadly, whilst my Volvo has been a GREAT car ... the repair/service received in 2025 at Springwood has been anything but great. My experience spanned over a 3-4 month period (Mar-Jun 2025) and involved a service, 4 x new tyres and part/s for a repair job. I struggled getting anyone on the phone, made numerous follow up calls, numerous errors were made. Somehow a low battery wasn't identified in the service? Don’t recommend using Springwood Volvo Service Department for your next service. 2016 XC90 went in for service and come out with several HUD faults and still want us bring the vehicle back to them and charge $215.00/hr to look at it. They couldn’t even clear the service required display function. Front brakes are metal on metal (no wear remaining) and didn’t replace them, letting the car go without contacting us, just nearly a $10,000 repair quote for a SUV in great condition that isn’t 10 yrs old. Poor customer service.
I am really disappointed with the service I received from Volvo. 1. I had to wait over a month for a service booking just so that I could have a hire car. However, when I arrived on the day, there was no hire car booked for me. 2. I requested a price for a car part, but I never received any quotation or follow-up. 3. The service team forgot to stamp my logbook. I called three or four times and was told that someone would contact me to fix it, but I never heard back. We walked into Volvo Springwood with the possibility of upgrading the wife's car, we were greeted by a young salesman who i was at first unsure of due to age. His name was Waleed and was i so wrong, he was the most pleasant, cheerful and knowledgeable young man i have met. He never came accoss as a hard sell salesman. From the sale to the trade in and handover, he was all class. We could not be happier. Thank you Waleed and all the staff at Volvo Springwood. Now all that's needed is driving gloves and a hat.
